Chad Paetsch

DVM, MSc, DACVPM

Dr. Paetsch received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) in 2009. Following graduation, he worked in a mixed animal practice and thoroughly enjoyed working with all species. In 2014, Dr. Paetsch completed a master’s degree in Epidemiology at the WCVM. In addition to providing clinical service and teaching in the Field Services section, he also enjoyed instruction in the DVM program. Since 2014, Dr. Paetsch has operated a solo mobile practice focusing on large animal medicine and surgery (cattle, horses, sheep, and goats) at Muenster, Saskatchewan. He has instructed students at Saskatchewan Polytechnic in cattle medicine, enjoyed working with numerous students in the practice, and has experience with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency as a veterinary epidemiologist (“disease detective”). Dr. Paetsch is a board-certified specialist or Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine. Currently, Dr. Paetsch also works with the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association on the National Examination Board as the Saskatchewan and Manitoba representative. In his spare time, Dr. Paetsch enjoys travelling, spending time outdoors, and being involved with horse endurance riding.

Taralyn Korolchuk

Taralyn grew up on a grain farm north of Quill Lake, SK. From a young age, she knew she wanted to work with animals. She attended Lakeland College in Vermillion, AB, where she received her Animal Health Technology Diploma in 2016. She then worked in a rural mixed animal practice for 8 years before moving to Englefeld with her husband in June of 2024 and started to work for Paetsch Veterinary Services in August of 2024. In her downtime, she is working on the family farm spring through fall, snowmobiling in the winter, spending time at the lake in the summer fishing, and spoiling her fur babies Bruin (German Shepherd/Rottweiler Mix) and Patches (Domestic Medium Hair).
